Hello, my name is Anna, and I’ve been playing the cello for 22 years. I have a masters degree both in performative arts and teaching cello from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I have acquired a wide range of tools to inspire my pupils individually in their step-by-step development. I teach learners of all ages and levels, my students are 5-60 years old, from beginner to advanced. When I was 15, my cello teacher asked me to teach her younger pupils. I was enthusiastic of teaching, and I still have the same enthusiasm, but much more knowledge and experience. Playing the cello makes you beautiful both inside and outside! While playing the cello, I pay attention to the music, my technique, my body and my emotions. I focus on the same aspects while teaching, so we will improve your musical and technical abilities, as well as your awareness of your own body and emotions. Music is very interesting both as a profession and as a hobby, but in the beginning we all face difficulties when it comes to playing an instrument. But with a little guidance, hard work and patience you can get the results you want... it's proven :) My name is Paula, I'm 25 years old and I enjoy teaching and working with enthusiastic people, because as I said, teaching others is actually teaching yourself ;). My field of study is music interpretation (cello), at the Ghent Conservatory. The way of teaching will suit the level of the student (for beginners I divide the lessons into two parts: half basic music theory and the other half cello), and I will always have my cello with me to illustrate. I am Zhanshu, a cellist from China with extensive experience in cello playing and music education. I previously obtained my Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK and then completed my Master's degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany. I currently teach at several music schools and have experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels. Through my many years of teaching practice, I have gained valuable experience and can develop an individually tailored curriculum for each student. I offer flexible lesson times, which can be booked in different lengths (30, 45, 60, 90 minutes). I believe that every student has a unique musical potential, so I always adapt my lessons to the needs and goals of my students to help them progress in both technique and musical expression.

I study at the Musikhochschule Mannheim and at the Blackmore Academy Berlin. I have worked both as an orchestra musician with renowned orchestras such as the Hr-Symphonieorchester and the Museumsorchester Frankfurt and also as a soloist with the Geringas Chamber Orchestra. I have attended many international courses with, among others: David Geringas, Reinhard Latzko, Jan Ickert and Martti Rousi. I teach in German, Russian and English. I design the lessons according to the student's wishes. I am particularly interested in further development in order to cope with increasingly difficult tasks, for example the section leader in the orchestra. I attach great importance to literature from all stylistic epochs from baroque to modern, including popular music. I like to teach beginners according to Gabriel Koeppen's cello school, volumes 1-3 and the Suzuki method. I regularly arrange works for my students' cello sambles and, at the request of the students, music that has not yet been rewritten for cello.

I am a professional cellist and I obtained my Master Cello with Geert De Bièvre at LUCA School of Arts in Leuven. Cello is my great passion with which I bring music to life! I also went on Erasmus and studied in Graz in Austria with Tobias Stosiek. Because I am very eager to learn, I regularly take master classes with well-known cellists such as: Maria Kliegel, Johannes Krebs and Johannes Moser. I give private cello lessons to young people and adults with great enthusiasm. I will teach you the complete cello learning package where I teach you to read and play notes. I teach primarily the classical style of cello playing, but with these basic tools students can learn to play any style of music they wish on the cello.

As a concert, orchestral and chamber musician I have played in Germany, Asia, Australia and the USA. I received my doctorate from the prestigious Yale University.

I teach my students how to play the cello and use it to express their inner voice. I'm currently doing my master's at Luzern Hoschule and I have already taught privately for 5 years and was also a professor at a music academy. I always try to pick the artistic side of my students and give them the tools to express themselves. Every class will be adapting to the student's struggles and evolution. My student's ages go from early age to adult and elderly.

I have given countless courses and master classes: from Moscow at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory to Helsinki, from Tokyo to Los Angeles, from Warsaw to Cheng Dou. I had a guest professorship in Korea. Every human is unique. In my lessons, I try to use my wealth of experience to convey the joy of music, but also the necessary knowledge to master the instrument.

I have been playing and studying the cello for almost a lifetime and I can assure you that it is one of the most wonderful things that can be done. Even if it costs! Since I have a very broad background - I studied classical education, now I'm studying new music, I play in a band and a string quartet and improvise regularly - I'm very happy to pass on my knowledge and experience. I completed my bachelor's degree at the Berlin University of the Arts and am now studying cello at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. I have 16 years of experience with the cello. I am a prize winner at many international competitions. I would like to share with you how to understand well with this beautiful instrument and my thoughts in the musical world!
