In my teaching, I try to teach the students how to teach themselves, because the best teacher for you is yourself. Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege and history of music, if the student wishes. For my private students, I organize concerts 1-2 per year. Fluent in English and Russian and Bulgarian, intermediate in Nederlands und Deutsch. I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, and probably more than 100 students. I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello and piano.

Hello, my name is Anna, and I’ve been playing the cello for 22 years. I have a masters degree both in performative arts and teaching cello from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I have acquired a wide range of tools to inspire my pupils individually in their step-by-step development. I teach learners of all ages and levels, my students are 5-60 years old, from beginner to advanced. When I was 15, my cello teacher asked me to teach her younger pupils. I am particularly interested in further development in order to cope with increasingly difficult tasks, for example the section leader in the orchestra. I attach great importance to literature from all stylistic epochs from baroque to modern, including popular music. I like to teach beginners according to Gabriel Koeppen's cello school, volumes 1-3 and the Suzuki method. I regularly arrange works for my students' cello sambles and, at the request of the students, music that has not yet been rewritten for cello.

I provide private and/or Skype cello lessons for students of all ages and levels in the Berlin, Germany area. I teach in English, Spanish, Portuguese and a bit of German.
