I am professionally trained classical saxophone player and teacher. I am here for anybody wanting to learn or improve on the Saxophone or, but also offering introductory classes for beginners on the piano, flute or clarinet. In one-to-one lessons I would like to show students different doors in music to jazz and popular music and convey excitement and joy in this complex and magical science. My emphasis is on sound, phrasing, music theory, rhythm and ear training and improvisation. The lessons are atmospherically relaxed and should stimulate personal interest. I am currently involved in a large number of projects with various musical styles. Music has accompanied me since early childhood. I started playing the flute when I was five and the saxophone when I was nine. After gaining a lot of experience in big bands, funk/soul bands, rock bands and other projects, my interests culminated in studying jazz and saxophone at the Maastricht Conservatory, which I successfully completed in 2021.
