Suite à avoir complété 12 ans d'études de Piano et de Solfège, ainsi que des cours de Formation Musicale et de Lecture à Vue, je veux faire découvrir cet extraordinaire instrument aux débutants et avancés avec la même passion que se sont servis mes professeurs (à savoir, Sodi Braide qui a étudié au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSM) de Paris et Stéphanie Aubert) pour m'amener à mon niveau actuel - grands concerts et concours avec 1er prix au CMG. Étudiant en génie mécanique à l'EPFL, je peux plus simplement et personnellement adapter les cours de manière à la fois ludique et rigoureuse, de façon à captiver les jeunes débutants. Hello, I am Natia- a person, who has been in love with music all her life. I graduated from Zurich University of Arts (Master Music Performance) and Tbilisi State Conservatoire (BA). Music is a gift, that needs to be shared. That's what I have been doing for more than 10 years of teaching. I have been teaching since I was 16, so will be glad to teach you everything I know so far. Currently active in the international professional field, I have collaborated with musicians across a wide range of styles and genres, including composing for the Flanders Symphony Orchestra, creating an interactive music theatre piece on vulnerability, and winning the 3rd prize at the Malmö Piano Competition. Additionally, I play synthesizer in a rock band, work with electronics on the computer and enjoy improvising in various musical styles. Online lessons are the most practical way for me to share my passion and expertise. From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
