Lessons in piano, historical and modern cello, and harpsichord, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history. In my teaching, I try to teach the students how to teach themselves, because the best teacher for you is yourself. Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege and history of music, if the student wishes. For my private students, I organize concerts 1-2 per year. Fluent in English and Russian and Bulgarian, intermediate in Nederlands und Deutsch. I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, and probably more than 100 students. I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello and piano.

Hello, my name is Anna, and I’ve been playing the cello for 22 years. I have a masters degree both in performative arts and teaching cello from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I have acquired a wide range of tools to inspire my pupils individually in their step-by-step development. I teach learners of all ages and levels, my students are 5-60 years old, from beginner to advanced. When I was 15, my cello teacher asked me to teach her younger pupils. I was enthusiastic of teaching, and I still have the same enthusiasm, but much more knowledge and experience. Playing the cello makes you beautiful both inside and outside! While playing the cello, I pay attention to the music, my technique, my body and my emotions. I focus on the same aspects while teaching, so we will improve your musical and technical abilities, as well as your awareness of your own body and emotions. Musik ist sowohl als Beruf als auch als Hobby sehr interessant, aber am Anfang haben wir alle Schwierigkeiten, wenn es darum geht, ein Instrument zu spielen. Aber mit ein wenig Anleitung, harter Arbeit und Geduld kann man die gewünschten Ergebnisse erzielen... ist erwiesen :) Mein Name ist Paula, ich bin 25 Jahre alt und ich unterrichte gerne und arbeite gerne mit begeisterten Menschen, denn wie gesagt, andere zu unterrichten, ist in Wirklichkeit das eigene Unterrichten ;). Meine Studienrichtung ist Musikinterpretation (Cello), am Konservatorium von Gent. Die Art und Weise des Unterrichtens wird dem Niveau des Schülers entsprechen (für Anfänger teile ich den Unterricht in zwei Teile: eine Hälfte Grundlagen der Musiktheorie und die andere Hälfte Cello), und ich werde mein Cello immer dabei haben, um es zu veranschaulichen. Wenn Sie daran interessiert sind, dieses schöne Instrument zu spielen, zögern Sie nicht, mir zu schreiben. Und vergessen Sie nie: Musik ist schön, nicht schwierig.

Ich studiere an der Musikhochschule Mannheim und an der Blackmore Academy Berlin. Ich war Sowohl als Orchestermusiker mit renomierten Orchestern wie dem Hr-Symphonieorchester und dem Museumsorchester Frankfurt und auch als Solist wie mit dem Geringas Chamber Orchestra tätig. Ich habe viele internationale Kurse besucht unter anderem mit: David Geringas, Reinhard Latzko, Jan Ickert und Martti Rousi. Ich unterrichte auf Deutsch, Russisch und Englisch. Ich gestalte den Unterricht nach Wunsch des Schülers. Besonders liegt mir die Weiterentwicklung, um immer schwerer werdende Aufgaben zu bewältigen, zum Beispiel Stimmführer im Orchester. Ich lege viel Wert auf Literatur aus allen Stilepochen von Barock-Moderne unter Einschluss der Popularmusik. Ich unterrichte Anfänger gerne nach der Celloschule von Gabriel Koeppen Band 1-3 und der Suzuki Methode. Ich arrangiere regelmäßig Werke für Celloensambles meiner Schüler und auf Wunsch der Schüler Musik, die noch nicht für Cello umgeschrieben wurde.

I provide private and/or Skype cello lessons for students of all ages and levels in the Berlin, Germany area. I teach in English, Spanish, Portuguese and a bit of German. I teach primarily the classical style of cello playing, but with these basic tools students can learn to play any style of music they wish on the cello.

Ook ben ik op Erasmus gegaan en heb ik in Graz in Oostenrijk gestudeerd bij Tobias Stosiek. Omdat ik erg leergierig ben, volg ik regelmatig masterclasses bij bekende cellisten zoals: Maria Kliegel, Johannes Krebs en Johannes Moser. Met veel enthousiasme geef ik privé lessen cello aan jongeren en volwassenen. Ik leer je het volledig leerpakket cello waarbij ik je noten leer lezen en spelen. I teach my students how to play the cello and use it to express their inner voice. I'm currently doing my master's at Luzern Hoschule and I have already taught privately for 5 years and was also a professor at a music academy. Ich habe zahllose Kurse und Meisterklassen gegeben: von Moskau im Tschaikowsky Konservatorium bis Helsinki, von Tokyo bis Los Angeles, von Warschau bis Cheng Dou. In Korea hatte ich eine Gastprofessur. Jeder Mensch ist einzigartig. In meinem Unterricht versuche ich, mit meinem großen Erfahrungsschatz Freude an der Musik, aber auch das notwendige Wissen zur Beherrschung des Instruments zu vermitteln.
