Cours de piano, clavecin et violoncelle historique et moderne, avec programme et répertoire adaptés aux objectifs et au rythme de chaque élève, jeune, moins jeune ou adulte, pour une initiation générale à ces instruments, pour une préparation à l'enseignement musical supérieur, comme aide complémentaire aux examens dans les académies de musique, ou pour un hobby, ou pour la pratique musicale en groupe amateur, ou pour développer des qualités comme la concentration, la coordination, la discipline, l'expressivité, la conscience des styles et de l'histoire de la musique. Dans mon enseignement, je m'appuie principalement sur des méthodes traditionnelles, des livres et des répertoires qui ont prouvé leur efficacité au fil du temps. J'utilise également la tradition pédagogique des partimenti des anciens conservatoires napolitains - des exercices de composition qui peuvent être appliqués dès le début. Cela ajoute non seulement un élément créatif dès le début, mais enseigne également par la pratique les bases de l'harmonie et de la polyphonie. Les cours peuvent être combinés (+30min.) avec de la théorie/solfège (entraînement de l'oreille), si l'élève le souhaite. Anglais, Nederlands, français, Deutsch. J'enseigne depuis plus de 15 ans, en privé, à Bruxelles, et à New York dans le passé, à plus de 100 étudiants. Je suis diplômé du Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, en violoncelle baroque et clavecin, mais je joue aussi du violoncelle moderne, de l'orgue et du piano.

Hello, my name is Anna, and I’ve been playing the cello for 22 years. I have a masters degree both in performative arts and teaching cello from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. I have acquired a wide range of tools to inspire my pupils individually in their step-by-step development. I teach learners of all ages and levels, my students are 5-60 years old, from beginner to advanced. When I was 15, my cello teacher asked me to teach her younger pupils. I was enthusiastic of teaching, and I still have the same enthusiasm, but much more knowledge and experience. Playing the cello makes you beautiful both inside and outside! While playing the cello, I pay attention to the music, my technique, my body and my emotions. I focus on the same aspects while teaching, so we will improve your musical and technical abilities, as well as your awareness of your own body and emotions. Ich studiere an der Musikhochschule Mannheim und an der Blackmore Academy Berlin. Ich war Sowohl als Orchestermusiker mit renomierten Orchestern wie dem Hr-Symphonieorchester und dem Museumsorchester Frankfurt und auch als Solist wie mit dem Geringas Chamber Orchestra tätig. Ich habe viele internationale Kurse besucht unter anderem mit: David Geringas, Reinhard Latzko, Jan Ickert und Martti Rousi. Ich unterrichte auf Deutsch, Russisch und Englisch. Ich gestalte den Unterricht nach Wunsch des Schülers. Besonders liegt mir die Weiterentwicklung, um immer schwerer werdende Aufgaben zu bewältigen, zum Beispiel Stimmführer im Orchester. Ich lege viel Wert auf Literatur aus allen Stilepochen von Barock-Moderne unter Einschluss der Popularmusik. Ich unterrichte Anfänger gerne nach der Celloschule von Gabriel Koeppen Band 1-3 und der Suzuki Methode. Ich arrangiere regelmäßig Werke für Celloensambles meiner Schüler und auf Wunsch der Schüler Musik, die noch nicht für Cello umgeschrieben wurde.

I have been playing the cello for almost two decades and I can tell you it is a beautiful and rewarding journey, and I would not be where I am today without a group of extraordinary teachers and mentors that have been with me along the way and shared their wisdom and experience with me. Now it is my turn to share. I have been teaching for a few years and I love watching my students develop, enjoy the cello, learn new things, and become better at expressing themselves in the universal language of music. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate/advanced level player, I would be happy to offer my guidance and perspective on anything you want to work on and improve. Studio Policy This policy is in place to protect the student, the parent of the student, and the teacher and serves to ensure that lessons run smoothly. Lessons/Payment: Students may enroll in lessons at any time. Lessons will take place at the teacher’s studio in Vienna, Austria. Online lessons are facilitated using Skype/Facetime/Zoom. Tuition is paid monthly and is calculated by multiplying the lesson rate by 4 weeks (3 or 5 weeks for certain months). Additional lessons are allowed based on the teacher’s availability. If I am traveling for a big portion of the month, I will let you know in advance, so that the tuition for that month is multiplied by the number of weeks I will be at home. Single lessons in the form of a consultation or master class are available if you are not ready to commit to a monthly package. If you have special circumstances that prevent you from taking weekly lessons or traveling to my studio, please contact me directly and I will do my best to accommodate your situation. Tuition is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first lesson of each month. Tuition is payable through Apprentus. For the consultation/single lesson, a one-time lesson fee is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Your timely payment serves as a confirmation of our time agreement. If I do not hear from you nor get the payment at least 24 hours before the lesson, I reserve the right to reschedule and/or cancel the scheduled lesson. Tardiness: The student will contact the teacher by phone if they expect to be late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after their scheduled lesson time has begun, the teacher will complete the lesson in the remaining portion of the time slot. Additional time for student tardiness is not guaranteed. If the teacher arrives after a scheduled lesson has begun, the teacher will give additional time past the time slot to compensate for their tardiness with mutual acceptance of the student’s schedule. Rescheduling/Cancellations: Students must cancel/reschedule lessons by phone or email with at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations are considered excused for illness, family emergency, or severe weather (public school closures). Excused cancellations with sufficient notification will be given a make-up lesson within the month or lesson credit towards the following month. No-shows, cancellations without sufficient notification, or unexcused cancellations will not be given make-up lessons or lesson credits. The teacher may need to cancel a lesson due to illness or a family emergency and/or reschedule due to performance engagements or planned vacations. In this case, the teacher will provide a make-up lesson within the month or apply a lesson credit towards the following month. If desired, the make-up lesson can also be taken online via Skype. If a student cancels a re-scheduled make-up lesson, the lesson will be considered forfeited. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. If a make-up lesson is not possible, a lesson credit will be applied toward the following month. Copyright/class recordings: Lessons and seminars are considered intellectual property and may not be recorded (audio or video). The teacher is legally protected in case of a breach of this agreement. The teacher is entitled to immediate termination of the lesson/package without a refund if this rule is broken. The teacher is entitled to legal action in case of copyright infringement. Parental Involvement for younger students: I do not teach children below the age of 10 via Skype as they require hands-on work to form correct playing habits and posture. Students 10 years and younger must have a parent or guardian present at the lesson. The parent will take notes and act as the student’s “home teacher”. Parental involvement is welcomed and strongly encouraged for all students, but not required for students 10 years and older.

Le plus important pour moi est de guider chaque étudiant vers ses propres objectifs, d'analyser ses besoins et de respecter son individualité. Les cours sont cependant ouverts à tous.

Ich habe mein Bachelor an der Universität der Künste Berlin absolviert und nun studiere Cello Konzertfach an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Ich habe schon 16 Jahren Erfahrung mit Cello. Ich bin Preisträgerin bei viele Internationalen Wettbewerbe. Ich würde dir gerne teilen, wie man mit diesem wunderschönen Instrument gut verstehen kann, und meine Gedanken in der musikalischen Welt!

Musik ist sowohl als Beruf als auch als Hobby sehr interessant, aber am Anfang haben wir alle Schwierigkeiten, wenn es darum geht, ein Instrument zu spielen. Aber mit ein wenig Anleitung und ein bisschen Geduld kann man die gewünschten Ergebnisse erzielen... ist erwiesen :) Mein Name ist Paula, ich unterrichte gerne und arbeite gerne mit begeisterten Menschen, denn wie gesagt, andere zu unterrichten, ist in Wirklichkeit das eigene Unterrichten ;). Mein Bachelor-Abschluss am Konservatorium von Gent (Belgien) hat mich gelehrt, was Musikinterpretation ist. Im Peter Cornelis Konservatorim habe ich die wichtigen Grundlagen des Cello- und Musikunterrichts erlernt. In den letzten Jahren habe ich viel Erfahrung mit dem Unterrichten von Cello im Einzel- und Gruppenunterricht sowie im Streicehrklassenunterricht gesammelt. Die Art und Weise des Unterrichtens wird dem Niveau des Schülers entsprechen (für Anfänger teile ich den Unterricht in zwei Teile: eine Hälfte Grundlagen der Musiktheorie und die andere Hälfte Cello), und ich werde mein Cello immer dabei haben, um es zu veranschaulichen.
